Person Shot and Killed on Indy’s Northeast Side

INDIANAPOLIS – A 19-year-old was shot and killed on Indy’s northeast side early Sunday.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they received a report about this on Shady Oak Drive, which is near Ellis Drive and 42nd Street, around 10:30 a.m.
Police arrived at the scene, and they found the person, who was later identified as a man. He was shot in a parking lot of an apartment complex, and he died at the scene.
