FRANKFORT, Ind. — A child has been shot in Frankfort.

Frankfort Police Chief Troy Bacon says the kid was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.

Police say that three kids were involved. One of the kids was shot around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday near North John Street. 

A handgun was found at the scene said WLFI. Police are investigating. 

The kid’s condition is unknown at this time.
