TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. — She isn’t catching a break. The bond for a former Tippecanoe School Corporation aide accused of molesting a student will stay at $100,000.

WLFI said that Judge Dan Moore denied Jennifer Holmgren’s request to lower her bond to $50,000, with $5,000 in cash.

Because of the severity of the charges the state objected, concerned she would violate the no-contact order.

Holmgren was arrested in November. She was a former special education aide at Klondike Elementary School. She’s accused of molesting a student.

The boy told police that he had sex with Holmgren multiple times from the time he was 9 to 13-years-old. Holmgren admitted to having sex with the boy in July of 2019 when he was 13.

Prosecutors said she tried to contact the boy on Nov. 3, the day she was fired, asking him to delete documents.

Holmgren is being held on charges of child molesting and child solicitation. She wanted to post bond so she could get out of jail to live with her parents in Valparaiso.
