Okay, what kind of human filth steals from her elderly mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease? How incredibly soulless, heartless, and devoid of any and all compassion and/or morality do you have to be to do something that evil?

Wait a second; we’re getting an update from headquarters. Grab a snack and stand by…

Okay, looks like this story is out of Florida, so we’re going to judge this one on the curve.

Karyn Turk, 2016’s Mrs. Florida and a conservative news commentator (Oh crap! She’s one of us!) is headed to prison for stealing her elderly mother’s Social Security checks instead of using the money to pay for nursing home costs.

A federal judge on Thursday sentenced Turk to a month in jail, plus, she’s been ordered to perform 100 hours of community service AT A NURSING HOME.

Editor’s Note: Yes, by all means, send a monster who’s been convicted of abusing her Alzheimer’s-riddled mother to care for the elderly. That’s like sentencing Michael Vick to work for a pet sitting service.

U.S. Magistrate Bruce Reinhart handed down the sentence saying he wanted to send a message: If you steal from the U.S. government, you’re going to jail!

Editor’s Note: In other words, “We’ll look past that whole ‘abusing your elderly mother’ thing, but stealing from the federal government is where I have to draw the line.”

Editor’s Note – Remember When:

  • In 1984, Motley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil drove drunk and smashed into a car carrying two people. The passenger in Neil’s car, the drummer for the Hanoi Rocks band, was killed and the occupants in the other vehicle were left with critical injuries and brain damage. Judge Edward Hinz Jr. sentenced Neil to 30 days in jail, 5 years probation, $2.6 million in restitution to the victims and 200 hours of community service. He served 18 days in jail
  • In 2011, Billionaire Samuel Curtis Johnson II, of the SC Johnson household products empire, served sixty days in jail and a paid $6,000 fine for pleading guilty to child molestation charges regarding his teenaged step-daughter. He was not required to register as a sex offender.
  • In 2001, actress Rebecca Gayheart hit and killed 9-year-old Jorge Jr. Cruz with her car. She pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter and was sentenced to three years’ probation, one-year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine, 750 hours of community service and a requirement to make a public service announcement.
  • In 2008, Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for federal tax evasion.

But anyway, good call on that sentence, Judge Reinhart!

Exciting Facts: Prosecutors said that while Karyn Turk’s mother was receiving social security checks, the former Mrs. Florida “abused her position of trust, used her mother’s SS funds for her own benefit, and then lied to SS in order to cover up the crime,”

Unpaid expenses to the nursing home racked up to more than $240,000 before the facility eventually took Turk to court over the debt.

Swell daughter! This is what happens when you don’t spank your kids, parents!

This gal, Turk, sounds like a real monster. You know, they learn this behavior at home. I don’t know who raised this woman, but they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
