BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. — A 77-year-old man from Bartholomew County is charged with murder.
James Mee, of Hope, is accused of stabbing his 50-year-old son, Charles, in the neck on January 7. Charles Mee died at the hospital in Columbus a short time later.
Court papers say James Mee admitted to killing his son.
Mee is also accused of causing a head injury to his wife, 78-year-old Barbara Mee, but does not face any additional charges, according to court documents.
A court date has not been set.
