COLUMBUS, Ind. — Three men have been arrested for stealing catalytic converters.
Police in Columbus say they had been looking for Darren Morgan, Daniel Morgan and Johnnie Hagan since late last year. They’re responsible for nearly 50 thefts on the west side of Columbus.
Late Tuesday night, police located the car they had been searching for in the case, in the parking lot of a Columbus motel. Early Wednesday morning, police found the three men in a motel room, along with multiple cutting tools, one of the stolen converters, plus heroin and meth.
The men are now in the Bartholomew County Jail, each on several charges, including theft and drug possession.
