Indiana ends 80-year wait, beats Ohio State for Big Ten title

INDIANAPOLIS–A person was killed in a crash on the southeast side of Indianapolis Monday morning.

IMPD says the accident happened in the 6300 block of Mimosa Lane, near the Veal’s Ice Tree off of I-74 and Acton Road at around 1:20. When they got there, they say they found an SUV was flipped over.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. That driver who died has been identified as 30-year-old Alexandria Kurtz.

They don’t believe other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police are trying to figure out what caused the crash.
