INDIANAPOLIS–A man was shot multiple times inside a home on the near northeast side of Indianapolis Thursday morning.
Police responded to the incident at around 2:30 and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds on North Olney Street, which is near East 30th Street and North Sherman Drive. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
IMPD believes the suspect fled to a nearby home, but was not found. IMPD Captain John Arvin was asked if there was any threat to the community.
“I would say yes because we don’t know where the suspect is. He could have ran out the back. He could be in the immediate area,” said Arvin.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
“See something, say something. If you can get a doorbell camera, that really helps. Doorbell cameras are invaluable to investigators,” said Arvin.
