Two People Injured in House Fire in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Two people were injured in a house fire in Evansville.
Firefighters say it happened Friday morning around 1:30. They arrived at the home on West Virginia Street and found one person inside, and they were able to rescue them.
Firefighters say the fire started near the front door of the home, and one of the two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Firefighters are looking into this.
