Rep. Victoria Spartz Not Committed To Voting For Mike Johnson

The House of Representatives will vote soon for a speaker of the House to lead the chamber for the next two years under the Trump administration.
Current speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., has received an endorsement from Trump, who wrote on Truth Social that Johnson is “A good, hard working, religious man.”
“He will do the right thing, and we will continue to WIN. Mike has my Complete & Total Endorsement,” Trump added.
Some Republicans have not committed to supporting Johnson to continue as speaker after a government shutdown fight divided the party last month.
Rep. Victoria Spartz, (R-IN) is one of them. Spartz has been vocal about her concerns with Johnson being re-elected and has said that he has yet to earn her vote for House speaker because he is “not able to govern.”
