IMPD Investigates Two Homicides in One Day

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a parking lot Monday night.

Officers found the man – who has not yet been publicly identified – in the 4200 block of El Lago Boulevard a few minutes after 9:30 p.m. They believe he had been shot.

At this time, it is not clear what led to the man’s death.

This incident comes after police found a woman dead early Monday morning at a property in the 7800 block of Ella Dobbs Lane. They say she had traumatic injuries, but specific details have not been released.
