Four People Shot at Laundromat in Lafayette, One Killed

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Four people were shot at a laundromat Thursday evening.
Police were called to South Street around 7:30 p.m., and they say the shooter was among those injured.
Police say a man died at the scene, one man and woman were taken to the hospital, where they are in stable condition, and one man was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis, where he is in critical condition.
Authorities looked back at surveillance footage of that area to figure out where the shooter ran off.
Police are still looking into this, but they said there are no threats to the public.
