Two Children Injured in a Crash on Northeast Side, Taken to Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS — Two children were injured in a crash on the northeast side Saturday afternoon around 3:00.
State police say the crash happened at the intersection of East 43rd Street and North Shadeland Avenue. The Indianapolis Metro Police Department didn’t provide details on how many people were involved or what caused the crash, but they confirmed it caused serious injuries.
The Lawrence Police Department were at the scene when the crash happened, and they were the first to arrive on the scene. They stayed at the scene to assist medical attention to the children, and they were taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating the scene and will provide further causes or details of the crash.
