IMPD Investigating Multiple Overnight Shootings in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating multiple believed shootings, one of which was fatal, that occurred Friday night and Saturday morning in the Circle City.

Officers say injured people were found on Egret Lane, East Washington Street, Black Knight Boulevard, North Sherman Drive, and Warrior Trail Friday night. One victim was also at Methodist Hospital.

All of the people shot on Friday night were last known to be alive. Most were said to be in stable condition, with one in critical condition.

Then, a gunshot victim apparently walked into Community North Hospital early Saturday morning. Officers note another person shot on East Washington Street was pronounced dead around 6:20 a.m.
