LAWRENCE, Ind.–A fire in a second story bathroom at Lawrence North High School had students going home early Wednesday afternoon.
It was unclear how the fire started, but fire investigators were looking into it.
Students were immediately evacuated from the school.
Buses were running early to take students home. Parents were also welcome to come to the school and pick up kids.
An update on what happens Thursday was promised for Wednesday afternoon.
