HENRY COUNTY, Ind.–Two semis collided head on Tuesday morning and one person was killed. It happened on eastbound I-70 in Henry County.
Just after 4, a semi traveling westbound on I-70 near Knightstown crossed the median, went into the eastbound lanes, and hit another semi, said the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver in the semi going westbound was killed. The other semi driver was taken to a hospital.
Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the crash.
All lanes of I-70 eastbound between the Greenfield and Knightstown exits were closed for several hours Tuesday morning.
There was also another crash nearby. One person was injured.
