A new survey shows over half of American voters support efforts to impeach President Joe Biden. It’s no surprise Biden has become so unpopular with the continuing border crisis, the messy Afghanistan withdrawal, the handling of the pandemic, and most recently the significant rise in inflation.
In a new Rasmussen Reports survey, 42-52% of voters support the idea of impeachment. The report said 77% of Republicans were in favor along with 50% of independents, and 32% of Democrats. However, the survey also showed that most Americans don’t believe the Republican Party will act on it.
Tony Katz doesn’t believe the country could stomach another impeachment hearing. He would like to see Americans stand up and fight for policy rather than jumping to impeachment.
I do not like the idea of impeachment as a tool of retribution. I’m not interested in that. I don’t think that brings us a valuable society…I would rather see victory. I would rather see policy. I rather see people standing up…Fight, pushback, share a better a vision.
Katz did note that a poll is simply a poll- and to take all surveys with a grain of salt.
