Colts Star LB Shaquille Leonard was back on the practice field for the 1st time this preseason and found himself in a pretty familiar place. Forcing turnovers.

When news first broke that Leonard would be having a back surgery, Colts fans were both surprised and concerned. The explanation for the surgery only made things worse. A back surgery would cure Leonard’s nagging ankle injury that he battled to play through the entire 2021 season with?
After practice on Thursday, Leonard talked to the media about long it has been since he has been 100% on the field.
Asked Colts LB Shaq Leonard how long he’s been playing through pain in the ankle, and his answer was very specific: “Week 4 of my rookie season, I rolled my left ankle…”
So, he’s now pain-free for the first time in almost four years…
