The drama is on as all NFL teams must cut their roster down to 53 today. It’s been busy on both the local and national front as big moves have been made by both the Colts and teams around the league.

Indianapolis is in a unique spot as they can carry 54 men due to the NFL’s International Pathway Program that allows them to carry Marcel Dabo without it counting against the roster. Outside of that, however, they have to make the same tough decisions that every team is having to make.

Of course, teams can also be active on the trade market which the Colts already did this afternoon.

To keep us in the loop, The Dan Dakich Show turned to The Dean Mike Chappell of Fox 59 and CBS 4 for his thoughts on the early moves the Colts have made in working to get their roster down to the required 53.

  • Whether or not the Colts will add a veteran WR
  • If there’s any moves the Colts could make that would surprise him
  • Does it matter the TY’s picture is still up at Lucas Oil Stadium
  • The logic behind cutting veteran RB Philip Lindsay
