The number of undocumented migrant crossings at the southwest border continues to rise by the thousands. Since April Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been sending buses full of migrants to D.C in efforts to protest the Biden Administration’s refusal to act on the border crisis.

Gov. Abbott is stepping-up his efforts in protest by sending buses of migrants to New York City. He wants liberal cities to put their money where their mouth is, as made apparent in a statement released Friday.

“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city.”

NYC Mayor Eric Adams calls Abbott’s move “horrific” after two busloads of migrants were dropped off at the Port Authority in the city this weekend.  He claims that Abbott’s administration isn’t giving the city a heads-up of when the buses will be arriving or the needs of the passengers.

“This is horrific when you think about what the governor is doing… “They’re not letting us know when the buses are leaving. They’re not letting us know what are the needs of the people on the bus. They are not giving us any information, so we’re unable to really provide the service to people en route.”

Tony Katz asks why Texas should be the only state that has to deal with the consequences of the border, when the Left are the ones refusing to do something.

“I think it’s terrible we have this problem at the border. I think it’s terrible and horrific that the federal government still doesn’t do anything about it. It’s not ‘horrific’ because you now have to deal with the same problem Texans have to deal with. Because of their geography they have to deal with horrific American policy on their own?”

In May the number of migrants who attempted to cross the border was a record-breaking number of 157,555 people.
