(BEECH GROVE, Ind.) – Less than four hours after a shooting at Greenwood Park Mall, another shooting at a Beech Grove park killed one person and left another in critical condition.
Four people were shot at a gathering at Don Challis Park. The other two victims are in stable condition.
Police aren’t releasing much information about the shooting, including the nature of the gathering, the identities of the victims, or how many people were firing. Mayor Dennis Buckley declared the shooting was the work of people “not from here,” but wouldn’t elaborate.
Police say they’ll release more information Monday morning.
