INDIANAPOLIS--A woman was killed in a crash that happened on the east side of Indianapolis this morning.
IMPD says it happened on East Washington street around 5:40, which is between South Rural Street and South Sherman Drive. They found a woman. That woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say the driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperating.
The driver was taken to a hospital for a blood draw, which is standard procedure after a fatal crash.
