INDIANAPOLIS — It’s been a busy night for police in Indianapolis.
Five people have been shot since about 9 o’clock Sunday night, reports IMPD. Three people were shot at a Citgo gas station on East Washington Street around 11 o’clock Sunday night. IMPD says all three victims are in the hospital in critical condition.
One person was shot on East 38th Street around 9 o’clock Sunday night. As of Monday morning, IMPD says that person is awake and breathing.
About 2:45 Monday morning, a person walked into Eskenazi Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police say that person is awake and breathing. Detectives believe that person may have been shot near West 29th Street and MLK, but that has not been confirmed.
