ANDERSON, Ind.–Several people were shot in Anderson early Sunday morning in two separate incidents that were both in the same area.
That area is 16th and Madison.
Police got a call about shots being fired early Sunday and arrived there to find two people shot. Both were taken to the hospital. Both were stable Sunday evening, reported WISH TV.
About 3:30 a.m. police got another call about gunshots in the same area and this time found three people hurt. One of those people died. That person weas not identified to media.
Anderson Police do not know if the two incidents are related, but they are asking anyone with information about these incidents was asked to contact Detective Trent Chamberlin with the Anderson Police Department at 765-648-6746 or Crime Stoppers at 765-349-8310.
