DELPHI, Ind. — The mother of one of the girls killed in Delphi five years ago is growing weary and frustrated with the Indiana State Police investigation into their murders.
Abby Williams and Libby German were both found dead near the Monon High Bridge in Carroll County back in 2017. Documents uncovered by our newsgathering partners at WISH-TV show that ISP knows the girls’ bodies were moved and staged where they were discovered near the bridge.
Troopers have interviewed Kegan Kline, the man behind the fake “anthony_shots” profile which Libby German was communicating with before she was killed, and have also looked into Ron Logan, the man who owned the property where the girls were found.
Logan died in 2020. Kline is being held and tried in a separate child pornography case in Miami County.
Both men are not and have never been considered suspects in the case. Carrie Timmons is Libby’s mother and said the lack of progress at this point in the case is frustrating.
“They don’t know what they’re doing,” Timmons said. “Still, they’re just circling around the same thing, and there just has not been a lot of movement in the case.”
Timmons said that she and the ISP Superintendent have never been on the same page as the investigation has gone on.
“Doug Carter don’t particularly see eye-to-eye. We never have,” she said. “We’ve had to have conversations with police. I’ve spoken to private investigators, but most of the people I’ve spoken with have said there’s not a whole lot they can do because (state) police won’t release information.”
WISH-TV reached out to Indiana State Police for comment on what Timmons had to say and they “politely” declined to comment. For now, Timmons is urging people to keep coming forward to ISP with any tips.
