INDIANAPOLIS – A man has died after he was shot on the north side of Indianapolis Thursday morning.
IMPD officers were called around 2:30 a.m. to a shooting that happened on Illinois Street just north of West 36th Street. That’s north of downtown Indianapolis, near Crown Hill Cemetery.
Officers found a man who had been shot and lying next to a car. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he later died.
IMPD homicide detectives are investigating. Currently, they do not have a suspect.
