(Washington, DC) — The Supreme Court justices are holding a private meeting today for the first time since the leak of a draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade. As protests continue outside the building, all nine justices will meet inside.
This will be the first time the justices are meeting since a draft opinion from February was leaked, showing the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling may be overturned this summer. That would leave it up to states to decide and at least half plan to end abortion rights.
The conference will most likely include talk about the report and cases previously argued.
