WHITESTOWN, Ind.— What started as a simple traffic stop quickly became more complicated.
Whitestown Police pulled a man over on I-65 Friday night for speeding and driving too closely to the car in front of his. The driver, 25-year-old Sheldon Williams from Chicago, smelled like weed. Police searched his car and found 2 Glocks, marijuana with accompanying measuring tools, 4 cell phones, and more than 40,000 dollars. Williams also had tech in his car that could turn his semiautomatic guns into fully automatic weapons.
The man was arrested and is currently in the Boone County Jail.
