Indianapolis – For the 2nd time in 3 years, Chris Ballard has elected to use his first draft choice on a WR. With Michael Pittman Jr. already a 1,000 yard receiver in his 2nd year, the Colts are hoping that Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce will be on the same timeline.

There may not be another person that knows more about the strengths and weaknesses of Alec Pierce than his WR Coach at Cincinnati, Mike Brown. Brown was a former NFL WR from 2012-2014 with the Jacksonville Jaguars and coached Pierce for three years as he grew from a lowly recruited high schooler to a 2nd round NFL Draft pick.

107.5 The Fan afternoon host JMV was joined by Coach Brown to talk about what the Colts should expect from Pierce in his rookie season, how quickly he will be able to produce for the Colts offense, what he needs to work on the most, and what his new WR Coach Reggie Wayne will be able to teach him to help him become an elite NFL WR. Listen to the podcast below or live from 3-6 on 93.5 and 107.5 in Indianapolis!
