INDIANAPOLIS – The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against seven people for their roles in five different Indianapolis homicides.

The following people have been charged:

  • Jalen Frierson and Hakeem Jackson were charged for their roles in the shooting of Eric Preer on April 23.
  • David Villanueva was charged for shooting and killing Tyvon Moore on April 25.
  • Eric Futrell has been charged for stabbing Bobbie Hill on April 30.
  • Jason Rhea has been charged for shooting Dai-Ghia Hogan on March 1.
  • Anthony Spearmon and Comfort Glass have been charged for their roles in the April 22 fatal robbery of Jahmal Houston.

“We have seen unprecedented levels of support from the community in these investigations. Witness cooperation leads to stronger investigations, quicker arrests, and puts prosecutors in a better position to hold individuals accountable,” Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said. “Additionally, the use of forensic firearm examinations has positively impacted our ability to prosecute cases and hold shooters accountable. Since January 2022, the prosecutor’s office has resolved 22 murder cases with a 90% conviction rate.”
