INDIANAPOLIS – IMPD charged a suspect from a November 2021 homicide and two other suspects were arrested from two homicides in the last week.

On November 9, 2021, IMPD officers were called to the E. 38th Street and North Meridian Street on a report of a person shot. Officers found 31-year-old Carlos Hale, who was shot and killed inside a car parked in the parking lot next to a business on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Homicide detectives arrested 28-year-old Thomas Watson, and he was charged with murder and armed robbery Wednesday.

The second suspect was arrested for a shooting that happened on April 23. Police responded to 1957 N. College Avenue, which is just north of downtown Indy, and found 31-year-old Eric Preer. He was shot inside a business in the area and later died after being taken to a nearby hospital.

IMPD homicide detectives listed Jalen Frierson, 21, as a potential suspect. He was arrested for murder, possession of a firearm by a serious felon and robbery.

The third suspect was identified as 19-year-old David Villanueva. On April 25, IMPD officers were called to 26 N. Gray Street, east of downtown, where 19-year-old Tyvon Moore had been shot. He was taken to Eskenazi hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Villanueva was arrested for the murder.
