Indianapolis – Heading into the 2022 draft, the Colts are in a similar position they found themselves ahead of the 2020 Draft. Wide Receiver is once again a major position of need.

Ahead of the 2020 draft, as every Colts fan was trying to figure out what receiver would be the best fit in Indianapolis, 107.5 The Fan Afternoon Host JMV brought on former UCLA and Colts TE and current College Football Analyst Charles Arbuckle on the show to get his opinion on who the Colts should take. Arbuckle introduced USC WR Michael Pittman Jr. to JMV and Colts fans. Chris Ballard ended up taking Pittman with the #34 overall pick in that draft and the rest is history.

Jumping ahead to today, JMV brought back Charles Arbuckle to get his opinion on this drafts crop of pass catchers and who may be available at the Colts first pick in the draft at #42.

How deep is the WR class? Should the Colts take a TE in the 2nd round and wait for a WR in the 3rd round? What WR would complement Michael Pittman Jr on the field? Is there a TE that could come in and help replace Jack Doyle’s blocking ability from Day 1? Take a listen to the full podcast below!
