FT WAYNE, Ind.–The four children killed in a fire Thursday in Ft. Wayne, have been identified by the Allen County coroner’s office. All four were killed by smoke inhalation and burns from the fire, said the coroner’s office.

Matthew Damron, 10; Johnnie Mann-Goff, 5; Jefferson Goff, 3; Rosalynn Goff, 2, were all siblings. Four adults were hurt in the fire but managed to get out. Jessica Mann, 30; Audrey Kistler, 24, of Fort Wayne; Samuel R. Barnett, 17, all of Fort Wayne and Travis J. Garrison, 18, of Waterloo, were all taken to the hospital.

While the coroner’s office released the cause of death, the manner of death is still pending. That is how the coroner believes the fire was caused.

The fire is still being investigated.

Though firefighters had the fire under control in less than half and= hour, the four children died. The fire was about 8:30 p.m. in a mobile home in the Dupont Estates community.
