LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Six people were shot, two of them fatally, early Sunday morning in Lafayette.
It happened just before 4:30 a.m. along Phipps Ct on the southwest side of the city.
Police said a large group of people was gathered at a block party. A fight happened in one of the apartments and led to a shooting.
Two men were killed and four other people were wounded, according to Lafayette police Lt. Randy Sherer.
Police have not identified the victims or any possible suspects. The shooting is still under investigation.
