GREENCASTLE, Ind. – On Thursday, Putnam County Law Enforcement received a call of shots fired through a window at the County Courthouse.
Deputies and Greencastle Police immediately responded to the area and determined that shots weren’t fired, but a rock was thrown into the building. No injuries were reported.
Law enforcement searched the area to find a suspect who was later found in the 1000 block of Shadowlawn Avenue, which is northeast of the courthouse. The individual was taken to a hospital for evaluation and police say charges are likely to be filed.
The incident is still under investigation.
