Amazon, an incredible American business that’s created massive value for consumers and millions of jobs, is on President Joe Biden’s hit list.

Biden issued a warning to Amazon earlier this week just days after workers at one of the tech giant’s New York City sites voted to be represented by a union.

“And by the way, Amazon, here we come,” Biden said Wednesday in remarks at the North America’s Building Trades Unions legislative conference in Washington.

“Watch! Watch!” he added as those in attendance cheered.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki later clarified (as she’s often forced to do) that the President was not suggesting that he or the Federal government would be “directly involved” in unionization efforts at Amazon.

“What he was conveying is his longtime support for collective bargaining, for the rights of workers to organize, and their decision to do exactly that in this case,” Psaki said. “Something that he has long supported broadly over the course of his career.”

Now look, multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and CEO, is hardly a sympathetic character. He’s a far-left liberal who supported Biden’s 2020 campaign for President. But is this how we treat American citizens who make enormous contributions to society?
