Indianapolis – Colts Owner Jim Irsay joined 107.5 The Fan afternoon host JMV last April to talk about the state of the team before the 2021 Season. Irsay told JMV that it took some convincing from Frank Reich to sell him on the upside of Carson Wentz as the next franchise QB to lift them to another Super Bowl. One year later? The Carson Wentz experiment has gone up in flames and the Colts are left looking for their 6th different starting QB in the last 6 years.
The Athletics’ Zak Keefer detailed some of the behind the scenes conversations that led to Wentz’s trade, including an apology from Head Coach Frank Reich to Irsay for how the season went.
