ROCHESTER, Ind. — A woman convicted of hitting and killing three children and seriously injuring a fourth at a school bus stop has been released from prison today.

Alyssa Shepherd was illegally passing a school bus in Fulton County in 2018 when she hit twins Mason and Xavier Ingle and their older sister Alivia Stahl, killing all three siblings.

Maverik Lowe was also hit and had to undergo two dozen surgeries.

Shepherd will now serve approximately three years of home detention followed by three years of probation and will have her driver’s license suspended until 2032.
