MUNCIE, Ind.–A Ball State University student was killed in a crash Friday.
Police say Braden Reynolds, 19, was driving his Chrysler 300 southbound on New York Avenue when he hit another car on Riverside Avenue. They believe he eventually left the road and hit a tree. The crash happened just before 2 am.
The car eventually came to rest on its side and caught on fire.
Medics got Reynolds out of the car and rushed him to a hospital. He did not survive.
Reynolds was a freshman at Ball State.
