BLOOMINGTON, IN — A Morgan County man has been arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography, which is a level 6 felony.
Luke Jobes, a 23-year-old man, worked as a 911 dispatcher and served his community as a volunteer firefighter. Then, in December 2021, he was investigated by Indiana State Police for having child pornography.
The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began looking at Jobes after gaining information through an earlier investigation, which included search warrants and interviews.
This investigation led police to charge Jobes on Valentine’s Day, who has now been arrested. He is currently being held at the Morgan County Jail.
The release also said the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office was part of the investigation, although no details were provided on its involvement.
