Texas turning blue is inevitable according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
AOC was in Texas Saturday endorsing Jessica Cisneros and Greg Casar for Congress. While shouting her support for unions and demanding Medicare for all, she stated that Texas will join the left and turn blue.
“Here’s what’s exciting about Jessica’s race and Greg’s race … is that if we flip Texas, we flip the country. Texas turning blue is inevitable. The only question is when. We are going to fight for a living wage, we are going to make sure we unionize the hell out of this state … and we’re going to make sure that not one dime is made exploitatively across any worker, especially the undocumented.”
Tony Katz says the only thing missing from this speech was a solid Howard Dean scream “yeahhh” at the end…
“She’s a believer that you can turn Texas blue by importing a new citizenry- importing it illegal or otherwise, that’s who she is. You think she’s a good person, who is all about law and order?… It’s clear she’s a radical that will do anything for power.”
