CLERMONT, Ind.–A man and woman were found dead Saturday at a home in what police believe is a murder-suicide in Clermont.
Clermont is a town in Marion County with about 1,500 people.
Just after 1:30 pm Saturday afternoon, IMPD says they were asked to assist Clermont Police Officers to check on people who lived in the home located in the 9000 block of Log Run Drive North. That is on the northwest side of Marion County and southeast of the intersection of I-74 and North Raceway Road.
When they got inside, police say they discovered a man and woman who had “apparent trauma.” Both of them were pronounced dead at the scene.
“Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Upon further investigation detectives believe this incident to be a murder-suicide,” said IMPD Officer William Young.
They also have not said anything about the relationship between the man and woman.
