Former NFL WR and current co-host of ESPN Morning Radio Show “Keyshawn, JWill, and Max” Keyshawn Johnson knows a thing or two about playing WR in the NFL. The USC product was drafted 1st overall in 1996 and finished his career 814 receptions, 10,571 yards, and 64 TD’s. He told JMV on Wednesday what Pittman Jr’s ceiling could be on the Colts, but also what he would like to see in Year 3 from the WR:
“I think his ceiling is a Pro Bowl caliber player. I would like to see him be a little more aggressive at times attacking the football, he can be somewhat passive. I would like for him to be a little more athletic from what I’ve seen, at times he can be a little stiff and next time I talk to him I’ll let him know those things. I want him to be a little more agile and explode out of his breaks, not floating out of the breaks. Attack the football a little bit more too. He can be a Pro Bowl caliber WR for them but he’s young, and he needs to speed the game up.”
If you didn’t get a chance to hear the full conversation with Keyshawn, take a listen below! He and JMV dive into whether or not he thinks Carson Wentz can lead this team to the AFC Championship game, why he wouldn’t want Jim Irsay meddling in personnel decisions, and what he thought of Jonathan Taylor’s special season!
