AUBURN, Ind.–When state troopers confronted a man who they’d been chasing on I-69, he put up a fight, resulting in a trooper being sent to the hospital.

The chase happened at about 9:30 Tuesday morning. Indiana State Police say Anthony Lamm’s car was going at least 100 mph when they were chasing him. He left the interstate at the Auburn exit and abandoned his car in the Cracker Barrel parking lot.

When troopers confronted him in a nearby gas station parking lot, police say he fought them and one trooper fell on the ice. Lamm was tased by an Auburn Police officer and arrested.

The trooper was treated at the hospital for a leg injury and is expected to be okay.

Lamm, 19, of Auburn was taken to the DeKalb County Jail for resisting law enforcement resulting in bodily injury and reckless driving.
