A poll from Rasmussen discovered that twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support removing parents’ custody of their children if their parents refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
It’s not just Democrats who support the harshest measures.
Seven percent (7%) of Republicans and 11% of unaffiliated voters would support such a policy.
The poll found that President Biden’s strongest supporters are most likely to endorse punishments against those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Voters who have a “very favorable impression of Biden” – yes, they exist – 51% are in favor of the government putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.” 54% favor imposing fines or prison sentences on vaccine critics.

Vaccine status has already become a contentious issue in battles over child custody in divorce proceedings.
In August of 2021, a judge in Chicago barred Rebecca Firlit, the mother of an 11-year-old boy, from seeing her son under partial parental custody because she is not vaccinated against COVID-19.
