INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis have made an arrest in a March 2021 homicide.
It was back on Sunday, March 28th of last year when Indianapolis Metro Police were called to Rinehall Drive on a report of shots fired. That’s just off 38th Street on the east side of Indianapolis.
Police found 31-year-old Dusty Lawrence with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, but died from his injuries.
Evidence collected over the past 9 months has led to the arrest of two suspects. Police have not identified the suspects because they’re underage. IMPD says they’re having more success with arrests lately thanks to witnesses coming forward with useful info.
If you know anything about this or other homicides, call Crime Stoppers or the IMPD Homicide Office.
