INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police have arrested a man for a hit-and-run they believe was intentional.
James Gary, 55, was arrested Tuesday.
On Jan. 3, police found 57-year-old John Coleman unresponsive in the front yard of a home in the 1000 block of Centennial Street.
Coleman was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
During their investigation, officers determined Coleman had been hit intentionally by a vehicle, possibly by someone he knew.
Investigators identified Gary as a suspect and took him into custody.
Police have not shared a possible motive and did not say how Coleman and Gary knew one another.
