STATE WIDE–More cold is coming. By Friday morning you can expect temperatures in the single digits as far south as Evansville.

“We’re expecting temperatures once we get to the latter portions of the week to drop off. We’re gonna have a couple of cold mornings, the first being Thursday morning,” said Meteorologist Andrew White, with the National Weather Service. “Lows in the Indianapolis area are gonna be in the mid teens, across the northern portions of the state, ten degrees.”

White said the wind will make it even more miserable.

“With some of the wind chills it could be near zero in spots.”

White said you can expect to see snow Thursday across the state, with some accumulation possible.

“The time frame for best chances for snow is gonna be during the day on Thursday,” he said.”There’s still a lot of uncertainty as to how much we’ll get. But, it does look like we could be seeing at least some accumulations during the day.”
