Thursday evening it was made known that the average Hoosier does not support vaccine mandates.

The State House of Representatives met yesterday to discuss a vaccine mandate bill. The bill in question would prohibit employers from requiring a COVID-19 vaccine unless they allow employees to claim a religious or medical exemption.

Supporters of restrictions on employer vaccine mandates voiced their beliefs for hours. Our news gathering partners at WISH reported the crowd had “outbursts of applause and even interruptions” in addition to several speakers going passed the allowed 3 minute window.

While Tony didn’t care for the behavior of some speakers, he still wrestles with the bill itself.

I still cannot get to the place were I can say that we should have some kind of legal action against employers… (however) the employers position cannot override your right to religious freedom.
