INDIANAPOLIS — The truck investigators believe was used in a hit and run crash that killed an 11-year-old boy in Indianapolis has been found.

Around 4:30 Saturday afternoon police were called to the intersection of Wicker Road and South Tibbs on the far south side of Marion County where the Kyson Beatty had been riding a small motorcycle. Beatty was hit by a flatbed truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I saw the body on the ground and the bicycle right next to that body under a blanket, as a mother and a family, absolutely, I went home and prayed for that family, said Sherrie Zuchristian, who lives directly across the street, to WISH-TV.

She provided Ring doorbell camera footage that police say captured a red flatbed truck driving away from where the boy was hit. Police made an image of that truck public on Sunday and they were able to find it that same day.

However, they have not been able to locate the driver of that truck.
